Another aspect I liked is the variety of settings across the stories, ranging from a cozy home to audition rooms, studios, and even an isolated cabin. The author, Julie, does a great job of creating atmosphere with room details and music.
My favorite story was about Josh and Kelly. I also found the references to Japanese technology intriguing the mention of the Hitachi Magic Wand really stuck with me, and it made me curious whether such things exist in real life.
